Yes, in fact, you no-deposit booking must be guaranteed
by a credit card. We accept all major credit cards.
What’s the cancellation policy?
Bookings must be modified or cancelled at least 48 hours
in advance to avoid a charge of the value of the first
night.
What is the ancient Hebrew Bath?
The ancient Hebrew Bath is a bath used for the ritual
of purification by Hebrews in Siracusa back in the Byzantine
period of the Roman Empire (circa 300 AD). This period
marks the beginning of the transition of the Roman Empire
from Paganism to Christianity and ergo increased tolerance
of Judaism.
Can we see the Baths?
Of course, guests of the Residence Alla Giudecca may
visit the baths and tours are available in English and
Italian, also to non-guests. No photographs may be taken
however.
What else is in the area?
The island of Ortigia is the historical and cultural
heart of Siracusa, full of fine Sicilian restaurants,
abundant with stunning medieval lanes and buildings,
and surrounded by the clear blue Ionian Sea and the
harbour and Bay of Siracusa.
Can we bring pets?
Yes, pets are welcome, as are children.
Do you have internet access?
Unfortunately not, but there are internet cafes in the
